Ricki and I were such good tennis buddies! We would play at the Carthage Ball Park for many years. The Carthage Tennis Association sanctioned many tournaments and we would either be partners or adversaries! We loved to try to outsmart each other on the court, with an occasional "drop shot" just barely over the net by Ricki; which by the way, would bring out the worst in me! (fun and games). Kathy and Ricki loved to fish and came to Brantingham one day to fish. Kathy and Ricki were a joy to David and me. I can't say enough about Ricki, she was a friend and fellow love of tennis partner. Ricki, enjoy your new "life" with Kathy and always stay just as you are...a beautiful human being. Peace be with you, and with thy spirit!

Carl, Lenny, Skip, Riki's father: I know how much it must hurt to bury two family members one right after the other. We'll never know what caused Riki's death. The only thing that gives me solace is knowning that she is reunited with Kathy. She missed her so much! They were soul mates. Both Riki & Kathy touched many people's lives and because of that will be remembered with love.
Rik was a good, good friend. She helped learn how to golf. She was a darn good golfer. I didn't share her love of baseball and while I like tennis, Rik loved tennis. We shared some wonderful times together. I will miss her.

The family of Bill and Marian Hills express our deepest sympathy for your loss. Riki cared for Bill and Marian in their very late life. She was a compassionate and enthusiastic caregiver, and great company for two formerly active people who at that point were shut in. Riki's love of tennis and animals was a delight to my parents--both lifelong tennis players and avid dog and bird lovers, and she kept them engaged with tennis championships around the world and monitoring the feeders.
We are so sorry for your loss. The obituary is a lovely tribute. Please accept our condolences.
