As an annual visitor to Canastota for the IBHOF Induction Weekend I was privileged to know Mrs.DeShaw for the last 25 or so years. She was a dear friend and a great Yankee fan. I really can't imagine life without her and I'm heartsick that COVID cost Grant and I two years of seeing her. My deepest condolences to Carla, Cathy, Robin and the rest of her family. Mary was a one of the best person I have ever met and I knew that she loved her family's and friends so very much that every one loved her greatest smile and attitude for life .she will me missed but knowing her she will be the angels of the stars to shine down on all of us everyday
