Obituary of Joanne Earl

MANNSVILLE – Joanne McDonald Earl, 71, 120 Lilac Park Drive, died early Saturday morning, September 15, 2018 at the Samaritan Medical Center in Watertown.

Born in Kingston, Ontario, Canada on September 27, 1946, the daughter of Hugh G. & Greta M. Horne Earl.  She graduated from Lakewood High School in Long Beach, California.

Joanne married Dennis C. Earl on January 22, 1969 in Las Vegas, Nevada.  She was primarily a homemaker, who enjoyed antiques, sewing and crafts.  She also loved listening to music, especially songs from the Motown era.  She was formerly employed as a receptionist for Best Distributing and waitressed at the River Valley Inn in Mannsville.  She also was an EMT and rode on the Mannsville Manor Ambulance Squad in the past.

She is survived by her daughters; Carrie (Stan) Tibbles, Watertown, Kelly Earl Rutter, Mannsville and Kimberly (Lucas) Simmons, Mannsville, along with 7 grandchildren and her brother, Ronald McDonald of Hillsboro, Oregon.

She is predeceased by two brothers; Stanley and Thomas McDonald and a sister, Joyce Madden.
