Obituary of Iris E. Rottner

PHILADEPHIA- Iris E. Rottner, 72, of Main St. passed away on Monday, October 29, 2018 at her home.

Iris was born on October 4, 1946 in Superior, Wisconsin, a daughter to the late Donald Clayton and Evelyn Eileen (Smith) Pittsley. She received an Associate’s degree in Licensed Practical Nursing. She was employed at various home healthcare agencies, the latest being in Phoenix, Arizona.

She married Robert Rottner in January of 1999 in Milwaukee, Oregon.

Iris is survived by her loving husband, Robert; three sons, Seth Rasmussen, Fargo, ND; Scott Rasmussen, Portland, OR; Kent (Kim) Rasmussen, Fort Worth, TX; two daughters, Evelyn Esser, Portland, OR; Jeannette (Anthony) Woods, Seattle, WA; and six grandchildren, Desmond Rasmussen; James Rasmussen; Joel Rasmussen; Anna Rasmussen; Shoshanah Davis; Isabel Davis.

She is predeceased by her grandson, Lonnie Esser.

Iris was very spontaneous and loved to travel. She also enjoyed reading.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 2, 2018 at Indian River Baptist Church, 42 Main St, Philadelphia, NY 13673.
