Obituary of Larry Lozo
CARTHAGE – Larry B. Lozo, 66, of N. Broad St., passed away on Sunday, January 27, 2019 at Carthage Area Hospital.
Larry was born on January 1, 1953 in Carthage, New York, a son of the late Kent and Donna (Donaghy) Lozo. He lived most of his life in Natural Bridge, New York.
He was predeceased by a daughter, Dawna; his mother and father, Kent and Donna; as well as siblings Tammy, Michael, Linda, Donavan and Kendra.
He cherished spending time with family and friends. He loved music, TV shows and movies (especially westerns). He enjoyed cooking and often made much more than necessary to give away to his loved ones. He loved making an adventure of going on car rides, getting lost and finding his way back. He also liked fishing and camping with his family.
He will be remembered for being the “go-to” person for any problems you may have had and for always knowing the answer/having the perfect advice; laughing so hard he would make the room shake; having a little bit of a “twisted” sense of humor; playing piano; singing; game days with his family; making beautiful afghans that he would give away as gifts or donate; and his smile.
Larry had a life-long dream of being a minister and became ordained a few years back.
He was a long-standing member of the Natural Bridge United Methodist Church. A service will be held at the church on February 9, 2019 at 12:00 PM, followed by a luncheon at the community center.
Arrangements are entrusted to Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. Condolences may be made online at www.lundyfuneralhome.com.
