Obituary of Jeffrey D. Tibbles

FELTS MILLS – Jeffrey D. Tibbles, 58, passed away unexpectedly on February 5, 2019 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.

Jeffrey was born on November 9, 1960 in Watertown, New York.  He was raised by his mother and stepfather, June and Ernest McCue. 

He was employed as a truck driver for many years.  Most recently, he worked for Public Works on Fort Drum doing snow removal and mowing.

On August 19, 2000 he married Teresa Norton. 

He loved hunting and fishing.  He also enjoyed bowling and was a New York Yankees fan. 

He is survived by six children, June and Stanley Siepka of Watertown; Krystal Tibbles and companion Kyle of Georgia; Steven and Kaitlyn Gascho of Watertown; Shane and Ashley Gascho of Natural Bridge; Amelia Moore of Plattsburgh; Donald III and Jess Towles of Watertown; two sisters, Rita Davis and Brenda Hayward; ten grandchildren, Rose, Charles, and Jeramiah Brown; Erin and Caren Weigand; Alex Moore; Blake Wormwood; Aubrey Gascho; Brittani Scudera; Ryan and Sarah Towels; and Danielle Gaucher; as well as many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.  

He is predeceased by his mother and stepfather, June and Ernie McCue; a brother, Jimmy Tibbles; and a nephew, Mike Flemming.

Calling hours will be held from 1-6 PM on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc.  A memorial service will immediately follow at 6:00 PM in the funeral home chapel.  A gathering will follow services at the Champion Fire Hall.  All are welcome.
