Obituary of Linda M. Potter
CARTHAGE – Linda M. Potter, 69, formerly of Boyd Rd., died on Thursday evening, April 25, 2019 at Carthage Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.
Linda was born on September 24, 1949 in Watertown, New York, daughter of the late Clarence B. and Vivian A. (O’Dett) Lunderman. She attended elementary school in Black River, and later her family was stationed in Germany, where she attended the 10th grade.
On July 19, 1980 she married Welcome Potter in the town of Wilna.
Mrs. Potter was primarily a homemaker. She enjoyed reading. She also loved outdoor activities including fishing, camping, taking scenic trips and bird/wildlife watching.
She is survived by her husband, Welcome; three children, Hope (Daniel) Potter of Star Lake; James (Cacee) Comfort of Watertown; and Heather (Jason Williams) Potter of Dover, TN; a sister, Terry Lynn Blackwell of Castorland; and 10 grandchildren, Corey Babcock; Daniel Potter Jr.; Cody Potter; Dylan Comfort; Tiffany Comfort; Hailey Ferguson; Conner Comfort; James Michael Comfort; Cheyenne Potter; and Garrett Potter.
She is predeceased by a sister, Elaine Lynch.
A celebration of life service will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, May 4, 2019 at the Natural Bridge Community Center. The family asks that those in attendance please bring a dish to pass.
