Eric and I send our deepest condolences and love to John and family. Karen was our classmate through middle school, high school, and (mine) in Canton. We will always remember her as a vibrant, gentle hearted, woman with sense of humor which usually saw the bright side of things. I’ll also always remember her tall stature, beautiful long hair, and a smile that made you feel wonderful. Karen seemed to hold an inner strength and a set of values seldom found in many people. She was gracious and warm without being superficial. She seemed to move naturally forward in life with a self assured stride; there were no hurdles, just bridges to cross.
Our hearts are heavy at the thoughts of her leaving. Karen will always be held in our thoughts and our youthful memories.

I am so sorry to the entire family for this loss. Karen was an absolute wonderful person and I had the pleasure of working with her both at Mercy and Samaritan. I would also like to send condolences to her "Maternity family" as I am sure they are in pain. Bless you all!!!!

I had the honor to work with Karen on maternity at SMC. She was a wonderful nurse, caring and compassionate. A great mentor and always ready to give a helping hand. Heaven has gained an angel. Rest In Peace Karen. Prayers and condolences to your family.

I’m one of the luckiest people to been able to have Karen call me a friend. I learned kindness, compassion, a great work ethic, all while having a great time in and out of work. There truly is no one like her. I feel guilty for missing her so already when it is her husband and children who have lost such a great woman. She has loved and raised four of the best kids. She was so proud of each and everyone of them.
She more than just touched my life, she helped form it. I will try to be kinder, more humble and giving with hopes she could be proud of me too
I loved her sooo much

Karen was an inspiration as a coworker and a friend. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2017 we talked, laughed and cried together. I value her friendship and kindness...
and I will miss her.

I worked at Mercy the same time frame as Karen. My husband was a pt there and she was his nurse. What a wonderful caring person. I worked with Sam in the lab. Many prayers for your family.
