While at Copenhagen Central, "Miss Vaadi" was kind enough to open up the Home Ec room during the times she had no classes scheduled, to allow we who were in study halls to come in and use the sewing equipment that was so much newer & nicer than what could be found in our homes. A few friends & I took advantage of this time and we also discovered that a teacher could become a friend, much like a helpful & knowledgeable big sister!
