Whether Gert was sorting cans, selling plants, waiting for the school bus, or talking about her grandkids she had a big smile on her face and laughter in her heart. Gert was such a nice person with a big heart. Rest In Peace Gert, you will be missed by many.

So so sorry to hear this. My heart is broken. Gert was one of my best friends when we worked at the hospital. We had a lot of good times and made some great memories. She was a wonderful person and love her family and Friends so much. She would do anything for anybody if she could. You are going to be greatly missed. Fly high with the angels. Until we meet again. Love you girl.

So sorry to hear that Gert passed away I worked with her for many years at the hospital she was one of my best cocks I always told her if I had two more of her I wouldn’t need anyone else I have a funny story/memory it was a Saturday morning and Gert agreed to work her day off my phone rang that morning and it was Gert and she was just screaming at me because it was her day off And the other cook scheduled called In and she was not happy I tried talking to her and her response to me was you have nothing I want to hear and hung up on me needless to say I showed up at the hospital within 15 minutes call her in the office and told her if she was ever going to call me at 6 AM she is not to hang up on me and then I spent the rest of my Saturday working side-by-side with her to make sure she wasn’t overloaded with the work she kept on telling me go home you’re making me feel bad and I did not leave until the work was done I totally respected and enjoyed working with Gert every day I have missed her over the years and it saddens me to know that she is now gone R.I. P. my dear friend
