I was sorry to hear about Penny passing away. We have been friends for along time and enjoyed getting together for coffee and lunches. She will be missed and am sending thoughts and prayers to the family.

My memories of Penny are those of joy and happiness. From the day of my adoption to my baptism, where she became my God mother. There are so many memories, too many to share of this lovely woman l, whom I loved dearly and will miss everyday.

Penny, I am so sad that we will not get to talk and laugh daily. You were such a special friend, (SISTER). Very saddened to read her name in the obituaries. Tried reaching her by phone, text, and knocking on her door since Tuesday -- needless to say she didn't answer or respond. Penny made a difference in this world. She touched so many lives. She was a special person and will very much be missed! She's with God now and no longer in pain …
