CHAMPION – Harriet Peck, 86, 31920 NYS Route 126, died Thursday afternoon, December 24, 2015 at the Lewis County Hospital, surrounded by her loved ones.
Born in Watertown on May 4, 1929, the daughter of John W. & Nancy Burns Healy, she attended the Carthage Augustinian Academy. She married Vernon Peck on August 23, 1948. She was primarily a homemaker; she also worked as a crossing guard and a babysitter.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon, her children; Mike Peck, Carthage, Linda LaClair, Carthage, Sally Green, Black River, Tom Peck, Copenhagen, Randy Peck and his wife, Sandy, Copenhagen and Ron Peck and his wife, Jo Ann, Champion.
She is also survived by her siblings and their spouses; David & Cynthia Healy, Jim & Nancy Conway, Donald Healy, Beverly Voorhes, Joe & Betty Healy and Carol (Ploff) Healy.
Also surviving are her grandchildren; Eric, Christy, Dean, Charrie, Phillip, Dana, Amanda, Andrea, Maria, RJ, Herbie, Devlyn, along with her great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is predeceased by Tim Peck and Mary Beth Peck and her siblings; John (Mike) Healy, Jerry Healy, Luciel Healy, Carol Monahan and Patricia Healy.
Arrangements are being handled by the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, December 30, at 6:00 PM in the Chapel at 10229 Washington St., Copenhagen, NY. Burial will be in Brookside Cemetery, Watertown. www.lundyfuneralhome.com
