A man thats work ethic was unmatched. A man that I admired greatly. My memories of Roger will be with me forever. R.I.P my friend....

We wish to express our love and heartfelt sympathy to Reba, your children, grands, your siblings and their families in the passing of Roger. He was a hard working and special person who will be greatly missed by all! Seems we knew Roger well due to the news and cudos given to him by Mary Alice and Ken. Your lives have been blessed by him for 80 years.
With Our Love,
Lois & Bob McAlpine

I want to express my condolences to the family of Roger Shambo. While I worked at the Post Office in Copenhagen, I got to know Roger, and all of his family through interacting with them on a daily basis. Roger would stop in every morning to pick up the school's mail and would always take the time to converse about the daily news or tell me how well the Red Sox's were doing, as he knew I am a Yankee's fan. Roger will be sorely missed by everyone he touched in life because of the type of person he was, but he passed those traits on to his family, who carry them around admirably. If you talk or communicate to any of his sons, and daughters, you know what I mean.
Roger , smile and rest in peace knowing the Red Sox's are on top again!

MY prayers for my Uncle Rogers family, my heart goes out to you all. My one regret is that I never saw my Uncle Roger as an adult but from what I gather he was deeply loved by all who knew him, and that is the true measure of a man. May you rest in peace Uncle Roger. Roger was one of the finer people we both have known. His calm and easy going demeanor at every occasion was always a blessing! Roger and Reba's children are, and always were, close with our own children, and every one of each of them was a credit to their schooling, and their attitude toward fulfillment of life goals and community participation! We feel a great loss!
