Peggy,Ervin, Rita, Frank I am sorry to hear about Margaret. I can't even remember the last time that I saw her, but, I always thought of her when I spoke of and to family. I have forwarded this obituary to Bob and Candy. Katherine and Mary and the nieces and nephews. I thank Vivian Burdick for letting me know.

My sincere sympathy is extended to you and other members of your family for the loss of your Mom / Sister. She was also my great aunt and cousin. My Dad was Vincent Burdick, only son of Mary Buchal Burdick and Ervin Burdick. I just recently saw her and we got to talk a bit about the past when she was a patient in the hospital. I remember going up to the house in Carthage in my younger days to see all the rabbits. May she RIP. Vivian

I will always remember Mrs. Burdick as a kind hard working lady who was always willing to give of herself for others. Patty was my best friend during my youth and Mrs. Burdick was like a second mother, her strength, determination, kindness and sense of family are values she had taught me and they have served me well through the ups and downs of life. Although as the years have gone by and Patty and my lives had drifted in different directions, the feelings of love for them both have remained in my heart.

What a cheerful, sharp, and talented person! I always enjoyed my encounters with Margaret. We shared chapters in the angora goat adventure, the Jefferson County Fair, the Lewis County Fair, a lot of Christmas trees, rabbits, and handspinning. She will be missed in many circles.

I am very sorry to hear of Margaret's passing!! When I saw this, it brought back so many memories of when I too, had a 4-H club.(Deer Lick Stables Equestrians) back in the day. .Patty and Margaret were such a huge part of 4-H, no matter who you were, you knew both of them...People like Patty and Margaret that gave so much to so many, are hard to find, and I'm so sorry to hear of yet another passing for your family...Prayers and sympathy being sent to all of you!
