CARTHAGE- Walter (Butch) Maxwell, Jr. 67, formerly of Old Martin Street Road died on December 8, 2016 at his home. He was born on March 26, 1949 in Carthage to the Late Walter & Emma Dooley Maxwell. He graduated from Carthage Central School. He was employed at the St. Regis Paper Mill in Deferiet, NY.
He is survived by his sister, Anne E. Maxwell, Rochester, a niece Stephanie McKenna, Rochester.
There will be no calling hours a graveside service will be held at a later date in the Oswegatchie Cemetery.
Arrangements are being handled by the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service Inc., located at 500 State Street in Carthage, NY 13619
