I want to express my sincerest sympathy to the Benware family and friends because of losing Susab recently in death. When our loved ones fall asleep in death, the pain and grief seems unbearable. Our loving God Jehovah (Psalm 83:18) understands how we feel and he comforts us by means of his word the Bible. Psalm 34: 18 tells us: "Jehovah is close to the brokenhearted; He saves those who are crushed in spirit." Jehovah invites you to throw all your burdens on him and he will sustain you in your time of grief. None of us are guaranteed tomorrow, but we are all guaranteed a resurrection. (John 5:28, John 6:40 and John 11:23-25) Also, Titus 1: 2 tells us this promise of a resurrection: "is based on a hope of the everlasting life that God, who cannot lie, promised long ago." Isaiah 26:19 "Your dead will live......And the earth will let those powerless in death come to life." Isaiah 25:8 "He will swallow up death forever. For Jehovah himself has spoken it." For more comforting scriptures please visit: http://bit.ly/1K38EFt. It has given me hope, strengthened my faith and helped me find the answer to Why? I know it will do the same for you. Again, the family is in my prayers and I offer my heartfelt condolences. Feel free to contact me if you wish at my email address; myranj@centurytel.net

My dear baby sister, Susan, over the last several years since Mom passed, I have enjoyed our visits on the phone and then the last 2.5 years, over FaceTime. I miss you very much. I prayed, cried with you, grieved over your struggles of pain, struggle to breathe and strained family relationships.
You showed and lived Christ's love and forgiveness these last several years, that amazed me!
You were an inspiration of courage and quiet strength.
Oh how I looked forward to calling you and just rambling on about day to day "goings on."
I loved that you loved teasing Curt. He always chuckled when you would poke fun at him. One can take the poking when you see there was never any animosity behind it, but just fun!
Will always miss you, and will be with you and Mom and Aunt Lee, some day! Love, Brenda and Curt

Mr. Benware and family. I was so sorry to read of Susan's passing. I will miss seeing her smile when she got her ice cream. I waited on you, your wife and Susan for many years. I was always touched by your love and kindness....and that was also passed on to her. Will be in Syracuse so will be unable to attend calling hours. But know...you will be in my special prayers and thoughts. May God be by your side. Diane

I smile when I think of Susan. That might seem unusual because of her quiet, introverted personality.
But it was a joy to see her enjoy others, and even blossom, especially through Stonecroft Ministries; i.e. Watertown Women’s Connection. She enjoyed serving on the planning team and being at the luncheons, prayer connections and business meetings. Even when she appeared to have nothing to say, one knew that she was plugged in! She opened up more when we spent one-on-one time together. She was a generous lady in purchasing the lunch cost for the children at Mother-Child summer programs.
Her generosity was near-silently given to women at New Hope as she gave scholarships annually for gals to attend the LYFE conference at BBC, now Clarks Summit University, in PA.
We don’t need to know all the times she gave of herself, but she did so in many ways.
I am grateful for being able to know her. I bet she is humbled and celebrating today.

Bill and I are so sorry to learn of your loss. We, of course, know that Sue is with Jesus and no longer suffering, and we know you are rejoicing in that. But,it is still difficult to lose someone you love!
I am sorry that we will be unable to come to the calling hours and express our sympathy in person. We are in Florida for January & February visiting with Janelle and her family.
You are in our thoughts and prayers.
Sending our love....Ruth
