Gary was a good friend of my family's. When I was a kid he was always so kind and thoughtful. I have several memories of Gary that will always Make me smile. I remember the first time I met Gary. I was really young at the St. James fair begging my mother for a candy apple. It was closing time and we had been there all day. My Mom couldn't buy me the apple, she didn't have any money left after all the day's rides, food and games. As we were walking away Gary caught up to us and handed me that candy apple. It's sounds like a little thing but it meant the world to me. That was the moment I realized how important little kindnesses can be. It was just second nature to Gary but he taught me a valuable lesson and I will be forever grateful. Rest In Peace Gary and thank you for always being good and kind.
