Obituary of Donald W. Fuller

WATERTOWN- Donald W. “Doodle” Fuller, 57, of Hilltop Towers Apartments, died Wednesday morning, August 16, 2017 at Samaritan Medical Center. 

Donald was born on December 15, 1959 in Carthage, a son of the late Donald Fuller and Beverly June Arnold.  His stepfather, Donald Gadbaw took on the father role, raising him from an early age.  Donald graduated from Carthage High School, before entering the work force as a laborer.  He was employed by Braman’s Manufacturing Company as well as other local contractors.  A marriage to Shirley Cheal ended in divorce in the early 1990s.  He then spent many years with a fiancée, Penny Bishop, who died many years ago. 

He is survived by six children, Shawn Fuller of Lacona; Heather Fuller Allen of Lacona; Samantha Bishop of Brownville; Sherry, Lynn and Amber Fuller, all of Brownville; seven siblings, Roy McKnight and fiancée Jeanette Reed of Beaches Landing; John McKnight of Carthage; Jackie Fuller Aubin and Mike Aubin of Harrisville; Wanda Arnold of Natural Bridge; Scott and Billie Jo Gadbaw of Harrisville; Sherry Gadbaw Sears and Pete Sears of Carthage; a half-sister, Flossie Fuller; and several nieces and nephews.  He is predeceased by his mother and father. 

All family and friends are encouraged to attend a memorial service at the Natural Bridge Community Center on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 4:00 PM with Pastor Frederica Webb officiating.  Donations in memory of Donald “Doodle” Fuller may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
