Obituary of Charlotte N. Dumas

OGDENSBURG – Charlotte N. Dumas, 81, of 256 County Route 28, died Tuesday morning, December 26, 2017 at Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center in Ogdensburg.

 

Charlotte was born in Lake Placid, New York on August 15, 1936, a daughter of the late John and Norma (Winch) Darrah.  She graduated from Lake Placid Central School. On January 28, 1956 she married Robert W. Dumas. She went on to receive her degree in Accounting from North Country Community College. She was employed by American Management Association in Saranac Lake, New York. 

 

She is survived by three daughters; Pamela (George) Aubin of Henderson; Denise (Francis) Lawrence of Lake Clear; and Rhonda Furgison (Joel) of Ogdensburg; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and a sister Jean Eagle of Glens Falls.  She is predeceased by her husband, Robert W. Dumas who died on August 12, 2015; and a brother, John Darrah in 2015.

 

There will be no public visitation or funeral service. Arrangements are being handled by the Northridge Cremation Chapel of the Lundy Funeral Home.  Condolences can be made online at www.lundyfuneralhome.com.
