Obituary of Dale Johnson

WEST CARTHAGE- Dale Johnson, 72, of 258 Champion St., Apt. 101 died Thursday evening, April 2, 2015 at home under the care of his family and Hospice of Jefferson County. Born on June 28, 1943 in Carthage, the son of the late Clyde and Rachel Peets Johnson. He attended school in Carthage. He married Carolyn Hosmer on October 14, 1967 at the Church of the Nazarene in Carthage. He worked for David Johnson & Co. Recycling Plastic Products in Carthage. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn, Carthage; the couple has two children, Reuben Johnson, Carthage; Lora Johnson, Carthage; he is also survived by several brothers and sisters, Valance Peets, Carthage; Nolan Johnson, Watertown; Clyde Johnson, Carthage; Randy Johnson, Carthage; and Sharon Dekin, Carthage; several grandchildren, Benjamin, Robert, Katina, and Jordan. He is predeceased by a brother, Gaylord Johnson. Per his request there will be no calling hours or funeral. He will be buried in the spring in the Sunnyside Cemetery, Naumburg.
