Obituary of Linda Henry

RUTLAND – Linda R. Henry, 28251 NYS Rte. 126, died Thursday morning, June 18th, 2015 at home, under the care of her family and Hospice of Jefferson County. Born in Rome, NY, on May 9, 1947, the daughter of Edward & Lois Neary. She graduated from high school in Clayton. She married Donald R. Henry on July 1st, 1978 in Copenhagen. Mr. Henry died on August 2, 1988. Linda was primarily a homemaker and was an active member of the Copenhagen Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary; she recently celebrated her 35th year of service. Mrs. Henry is survived by her sons, Robert Henry of New York City and Shane Henry, Copenhagen. She is predeceased by her husband, Donald and her son, Donnie, who died in 2006. Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 21 from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at the Copenhagen Chapel, 10229 Washington St., Copenhagen, with a service to follow at 4:00 PM.
