I was deeply sadden by the news of Keegan's passing. I can recall so many years ago my first interaction with him on the soccer field during the boys modified soccer season. I was impressed with his likable personality, talent on the field, and hard working ethics. As a coach, I found Keegan to be one of the best coach-able players I had in the 14 years that I have , coached. Keegan was always smiling, had positive things to say, and was very much liked by his peers. As a high school student and a cadet (I'm sure it was his Freshman year if memory serves me right), again I saw a young man who participated in his education and always a positive person that projected that to all those around him. In talking with my son Aaron, he also felt the same way about Keegan and though he was a valued member on the Lacrosse team. "We" as a nation lost a bright, cheerful, and special young man and he will be missed by all. I extend my deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Keegan and will pray for their healing.

I can remember one morning, we were having breakfast at a friends house. We decided to watch Netflix and I asked Keegan to pick, so he turned on a show about conspiracy theories. I had never had a particular interest in that kind of thing, but every single question I asked, he was able to answer. He knew so much history and knew things I hadn't ever heard about. It was so fun to see the way he lit up talking about it! It was like seeing a side of him I hadn't seen before, and his enthusiasm for history got me intrested. Keegan will be missed so very much. My prayers are with all of his family.
